Enid was a sweet and gentle soul with the heart of a warrior. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Our hearts ache with the loss. Yet are filled with joy for Enid as she’s now home with the Lord.
Enid graduated from Colegio Bautista de Carolina in Puerto Rico. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Visual and Performing Arts from the University of South Florida in Tampa.
She worked at the Hillsborough County Health Department, the University of South Florida, local modeling schools, and substitute teaching in Pinellas County. Regional modeling and acting gigs make a list as well.
Her Spanish language tutoring business was floundering as her live-in student, Terry, was still stuck in Spanish for Gringos, Level One.
Initially a tennis denier, she morphed into a raging professional tennis groupie. Her husband was the last line of defense between her and Argentina’s Juan Martin Del Potro.
Enid also made friends worldwide thanks to her online gaming and community pursuits.
Her favorite job and proudest accomplishment were being a loving wife and friend to her husband of 24 years, Terry.
Enid was preceded in death by her mother, Enid Justina Ortiz, father, Alirio Ferrer, and sister, Ingrid Milagros Ferrer.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Enid’s birthday, March 11th, at Blount & Curry FH-Macdill Chap, 605 S MacDill Ave, FL 33609. Friends are welcome to join the family for a gathering at 1:00 pm followed by a 2:00 pm Celebration of life.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.blountcurrymacdill.com for the O'Grady family.
