GONZALEZ, Emilio S., 83, of Tampa , went home to be with the Lord on September 14, 2014. He is survived by his beloved wife; Olga, his children; Ileana McCallum and Col. Emilio T. Gonzalez and his wife Gloria Aristigueta, his grandchildren; Jessica Spinner and her husband James, Mindy Bennett and her husband Chip, Gloria E. Gonzalez and her husband Rafael Guilarte, Bryan McCallum, and Victoria Gonzalez and her husband Randy Valdivia, his great-grandchildren; Grace, Jack, Joba, Gianna, Parker, Mattingly, Noah, Luke, and Esther. Emilio was born on March 12, 1931 in Havana , Cuba . Emilio was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Funeral Services will be performed by Pastor Chip Bennett at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home ( 4207 E. Lake Avenue , Tampa ) on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Noon. Burial to follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park . In lieu of flowers, it is the family’s wishes that memorial contributions be made to Emilio’s great-granddaughter, Mattie, who has cerebral palsy.
