BURGER, Elizabeth Mary, 91, of Tampa, was born on July 3, 1923 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Thomas and Mary Ryan Devaney. She passed away on July 4, 2014 in Tampa. She was a retired teacher and avid animal lover who enjoyed bird watching and being outdoors. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth is preceded in death by her loving husband John Burger. She is survived by her son, Matthew Burger and his wife Belinda; a daughter, Karen Stofcheck and her husband Ben; her sisters, Frances and Winnie and her four grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elizabeth’s name to any organization supporting children or education.
