He was born on July 19, 1940 in Havana, Cuba to his parents Elias F Souto and Amparo H. Souto.
When he was growing up in Cuba he went to catholic school from kindergarten through high school at Marcellino Champagnat (Maristas)in La Vibora Havana. Always loving sports, he played baseball while attending school. He worked at a couple of jobs in Cuba from payroll to transportation etc.
He came to the USA in 1980 with his son and mother eventually making his way to Tampa Fl. His love of sports led him to be A dedicated Tampa Bay Rays and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan. He enjoyed singing and dancing especially at his favorite restaurant La Teresita. He enjoyed everything life had to offer.
He met Caridad Souto in the late 80’s adopting her 2 daughter as his own. While living in the Tampa he worked as a telemarketer and security guard. In 1997 his second son was born. He continued to work hard to provide for his family until he retired in 2009. Then he dedicated his time being with his wife, son and daughters watching the Rays. He loved his grandchildren’s very much. He was very relaxed and happy minded person and will be missed very much.
He survived by, his oldest son Enrique Souto follow by his youngest Ricardo Souto his daughters Elaine Galan, Jeanette Lopez, his sister Amparo S. Romero, grandchildren along with many loved family members.
