Edward R. Scott, age 89, of Tampa, Florida passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021. Edward was born February 26, 1932 in Tampa, Florida.

He loved listening to, playing and singing country music. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Edward loved his church and family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jo Scott. Survivors include his children, Marie Teany (Paul), Michael Scott (Stacey), Starr Miller, Melody Laska (Jeff); William Estes (Vicky), Madelyn Scarpo (Arthur), Timothy Estes (Rhonda); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories. The family will receive friends starting at 9 a.m. A committal service with military honors will be held 12:30 p.m. Thursday, October 28, 2021 in Florida National Cemetery, 6502 Southwest 102nd Avenue.
