Dorothy “Dottie” Chambers, 84, of Tampa passed away April 26, 2017. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Mark Chambers; children, Kevin Chambers, Lisa Muiselaar, Janice Chambers and Kathy Metz, husband Marc; siblings, Edward Brewer, wife Pat, Pat Strayer, husband Dick, Anne Armistead, husband Bob, James L. Brewer, Linda Slavik, husband Roger; seven grand-children; great grandchildren; nieces, nephew and cousins. Dottie was a registered nurse for 32 years for Doctors, Rogers and Reiner in Tampa. She was a longtime member of Manhattan Ave Church of Christ and taught bible class for 50 years there. She also enjoyed cooking and gardening. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from 5pm to 7pm at Blount Curry Macdill Chapel, 605 S. Macdill Ave, Tampa FL 33609. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 3, 2017 at 1pm at Blount and Curry MacDill Chapel.
