Jordan, Dorothy C., 85, of Tampa passed away November 29, 2014. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Don Jordan, in 2009. Survivors include her sons, Jonathan Jordan of Tampa and Greg Jordan of St. Petersburg; brother, Morgan Jones of Spring Hill; and her beloved cats. Born and raised in Ottumwa, Iowa, Dorothy has been a Tampa Bay resident for 54 years. She was a volunteer for the Community Civic Association and an active member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, December 6 at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home, Oldsmar/West Hillsborough Chapel, 6802 Silvermill Drive, Tampa followed by entombment at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater.
