Roberts, Dewey S., 66, native of Tampa, passed away June 14, 2015. Dewey was a graduate of Hillsborough High School, class of 1967 and attended the University of South Florida. He worked for 30 years at GTE and later Verizon until retirement. Dewey was a member of Incarnation Catholic Church. He was an avid woodworker and loved to fish. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and is survived by his wife, Mary Alice Roberts, son, Shane Roberts, daughters, Julene Turbeville, Alicia (John) Thacker, and Joanna Roberts, brother, Samuel (Sissy) Roberts, grandchildren, Samantha Roberts, Emily Paes, Pyper Thacker, Ayden Turbeville, and Noah Thacker. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 6-8 pm with a vigil service scheduled 7:00 pm at the Blount & Curry West Chapel, 6802 Silvermill Dr., Tampa. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 19, 2015, 10:00 am at Incarnation Catholic Church, (corner of Webb Rd. & W. Hillsborough Ave.) Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
