Deputy Darell Lavias Brown Sr., a devoted man of God, born March 15, 1984, in Pahokee, Fl. Survived by his love for his wife, Desirae Dawson-Brown, his beloved children, Darell Brown Jr., Cameron Brown, Ne'Riyah Brown, Matthew Dawson, and Isaiah Brown. His proud and loving parents, Jimmy Lee Brown Sr., and Mattie Louise Brown; caring siblings, Shanshera Quinn (Anthony), Jimmy Brown Jr. (Jessica), and Jimeria Chukes. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
On September 19, 2024, Darell was called home to be with the lord. Leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and service that will never be forgotten.
From a young age, Deputy Brown gave his life to Christ, establishing a steadfast and lifelong relationships with his faith. His devotion to God, served as a pillar of strength and comfort, both for him and for those fortunate enough to know him. His generous heart, infectious smile, and the ability to brighten any room, with a source of joy to everyone he encountered.
Darell attended Palm Beach Lakes High School, where he excelled in academics and displayed a natural ability for football early on. Throughout the years, he demonstrated exemplary work ethic. He went on to Hillsborough Community College to pursue his passion for justice, earning a degree in Criminal Justice and jump starting his career in becoming a dedicated Detention Deputy with Hillsborough County, In addition to his role in law enforcement, Deputy Brown wore many hats. Having an entrepreneurial spirit, he launched "D-Trainer Fitness, LLC", personal training business. And whilst his athletic skills remained strong. He played semi-professional football with the Scorpions of Bradenton, Florida, coached the Carrollwood Packers, Tampa Reapers, and flag youth football teams.
Darell ultimately obtained his master's degree in business administration (MBA) with a concentration in cyber security. His intellectual curiosity and drive to excel allowed him to embrace a variety of professional opportunities throughout his life.
Deputy Darell Brown Sr. was a man of unwavering faith and a true friend. His radiant personality, love for life, and dedication to his family will forever be remembered. He was the life of every gathering and created memories that will be cherished forever. And though his earthly presence will be missed, his legacy of faith, love, and laughter, will live on in the hearts of all whom had the honor of knowing him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
A celebration of his life will be held at Idlewild Baptist Church, Located at 18333 Exciting Idlewild Blvd. Lutz, FL 33548, on Monday, September 30, 2024 at 10am followed by a funeral service from 11am.
