Dane Anthony McGillivray, 55 of Tampa, passed peacefully at home on March 25th, 2021. Dane was born on December 28th, 1965 in Midland, Michigan.
He is survived by his mother, Connee; sister, Charmagne; brother-in-law, Dinesh Kaushal; nephew, Micah; and niece, Asha.
Dane was a native of South Tampa and graduated in 1983 from Henry B. Plant High School. For over 30 years, Dane worked as a general contractor and master carpenter in the Tampa Bay area and throughout the United States. He had a love of classical music, was an avid chess player, and never missed an opportunity to cheer on his Florida Gators. Dane was known for his kindness, generosity, and humor, and will be missed by many friends and family.
