Clarence “Duke” Dukart passed away May 13, 2020 at his home surrounded by his wife, Dianne of 57 years and loving family. He is survived by his children, Patrick (Brenda) Dukart, Bonnie Dukart, Angie (Ernie) Rubio and Christopher (Earlean) Dukart; grandchildren, Dustin, Jesse, Chantil, Sophia (Dukart), and Michael and Emily (Rubio); siblings, LaVerne (Bonny) Frank, Albert Dukart, Vera (Leonard) Kadrmas and Dennis Dukart. Preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Monica (Sticka) Dukart and his siblings Vivian Froehlich and Donald Dukart. The journey for Clarence began as a part of a hard-working farming community in North Dakota. He graduated from Saint Mary’s in Dickinson, ND. then joined the Air Force (6 years). He continued to serve his country throughout his life with long careers in civil service at MacDill AFB (33 years) and as a Master Chief of the USN Seabees Reserve (22 years) NMCB14 Battalion. He was a member of the TBCPOA, SVA X-11, Disabled American Veterans, and the American Legion. He served his community with compassion through his active membership with the local Egypt Shrine Temple Lodge #153 as a 33rd degree mason. Clarence was a devoted husband, father and grandfather filled with compassion and love. As a friend, mentor and coworker he was known for his knowledge, tenacity, honor and a great sense of humor. He loved to spend time with his family, to cook and to fix anything and everything while in his garage. He is sorely missed in our hearts and minds. He had many a quip, but the one he would probably say now is “Carry On!”.
Our family will be forever grateful to all the wonderful doctors and staff at Moffitt Cancer Centers, Florida Cancer Specialists and LIFEPATH Hospice for the wonderful care and support we received.
