Clara Pierola Rodriguez

RODRIGUEZ, Clara Pierola, 95, passed away peacefully at home under Hospice care June 1, 2018. She was the youngest of 9 children born in West Tampa to the late Jacinto and Mercedes Jimenez Pierola. Clara attended Hillsborough Junior High School. She enjoyed baking and her life centered on her family. Clara was preceded in death by Frank “Pancho”, her beloved husband of 73 years, step son Frank, daughter-in-law Iris, son-in-law Cliff, and granddaughter Melody. Clara is survived by sons; Roddy Rodriguez and Jerry Rodriguez (Karen) and daughter Sonia Cribb, daughter-in-law Elida Rodriguez, 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, extended family and friends. A special "Thank-you" to her three caregivers; Marilyn, Jackie, and MaTiaunna, for the care and love they gave to her. Family will receive friends 1pm – 2pm, Thursday, June 7th at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at the Garden of Memories, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, FL 33610. A private entombment will follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to LifePath Hospice or charity of choice.
