

Christopher John (“C J”) Michaelis, age 27, died Monday, January 3, 2022 in Tampa, Florida as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was born March 5, 1994 in Sylvania, Ohio the son of Catherine D. Najarian
and Terry L. Michaelis.
He worked as a motorcycle salesman at The Tampa Elite & Cycle Exchange and was a former employee of Pro-Team Corvette Sales, Inc. in Napoleon, Ohio. He went to Land O’Lakes High School in Pasco
County, Florida. Chris foremost loved riding motorcycles with his friends and was very active and loved in the local motorcycle community. On the water, he loved the freedom of being on a Jet Ski. Chris was a joyful spirit with a wonderful sense of humor who loved his family and friends. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his mother Catherine Najarian, Tampa, Florida and father Terry Michaelis, Napoleon, Ohio; two sisters: Kelly (Mike) Keysor, Van Wert, Ohio; Madison Michaelis, Elida, Ohio and brother Terry
Michaelis II, Tampa, Florida; maternal grandfather Gordon Black and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Janice Black and paternal grandparents Frederick (“Fritz”) and Donna Michaelis.
Funeral Services will be at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E. Lake Ave, Tampa, Florida 33610 on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Visitation one hour prior to service. He will be laid to rest Friday, January 21, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4202 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, Florida 33610.
