Christine Marie Newmyer

Newmyer, Christine Marie, 47, of Lutz, went to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with cancer on Oct. 24, 2015. She moved to Tampa Bay in 2002 from Hinckley, OH. Christine was a member of the All Children’s Hospital Foundation for 5 years. She spent 25 years with Continental Airlines as a flight attendant, and for over 10 years, she served as the flight coordinator for the Cleveland Indians. Christine met Grant Newmyer on Feb 1, 2012. It was love at first sight. They knew they were perfect for each other, and they married in August of 2013. She was a proud and encouraging step- mother, a great daughter, and a loving aunt. Kind, with a big heart, she enjoyed meeting and entertaining people at home and when serving on her flights. Christine was preceded in death by her father Victor Edward Cassesa. She will be missed by her husband Grant; her step-children Andrew and Aileen; her mother Rosemarie A Cassesa; brothers Jim and his wife Bridget and David and his wife Tammy; and her sister Vickie Evans.
