Charles "Chuck" Horace Talbott

Charles H. Talbott 89, of Tampa, passed away on Tuesday, February 4th, 2020. He was born in Leesburg, FL to Iva Mae and William Talbott. He served as a staff sergeant in the US Army for 24 years and then worked as a bottler for Coca Cola for 20 years before retiring. He loved bowling, and country/gospel music. He was preceded in death by his son, Charles Jr.; his parents listed above and siblings: Judson Talbott, Robert Talbott, Katherine Mathes, and Paul Talbott. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Rosa Talbott; children: Rosa Soash, Jonah (Terry) Talbott, Edna (Chuck) Sullivan, and Francis Talbott; grandchildren: Elizabeth Sullivan Krieger, Patrick Sullivan, Noah Talbott; siblings, Earline Matthews and Glen Talbott. The family welcomes friends and family to a visitation on Thursday, Feb 27th from 10-11am followed by a celebration of life at 11am at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 605 S. MacDill Ave Tampa, FL 33609. Inurnment will be at Bay Pines National Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers or food, please consider making a donation to the charity of your choice in Chuck’s memory.
