Charles West Rossman

Rossman, Charles West 89, of Tampa passed away 3/25/2016. He attended Hillsborough HS and joined the Navy during WWII. Later retired from the US Postal service after 37 years, using vacation and retirement time he served under 12 ministers, starting new churches, helping to restore older ones and working with foreign missions. Charles was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Sun City Center, a Master Mason and a member of A.W. Windhorst Lodge 185. He was preceded in death by his father, Wm. Harold Rossman; mother H. Marguerite West Rossman; 6 siblings. He is survived by his sister, Margaret Johnson (Clyde); his loving wife of 63 years, Barbara; sons, Dale (Tina), Jack; grandchildren, Matt (Carey), Jackson, Corey, Stephanie and 2 great grands. In Charles' memory the family requests donations be made to Baptist Ministries Honduras 13425 Bellingham Drive Tampa, FL 33625. A memorial Gathering will take place Monday, 4/11 at 10 am followed by a memorial service at 11 am at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, Tampa, Florida.
