Charles Hill, 87, a Tampa native, passed away June 20, 2020. He was a proud class of '52 Hillsborough High graduate, where he was a star athlete; playing football, basketball, and baseball.
Charles served in the United States Army as a Corporal, stationed in Korea and Japan. In his later years he enjoyed playing bridge at the Tampa Bay Bridge Center and was an avid golfer. Charles excelled at any sport he played.
He is predeceased by his parents, brother Joseph Hill, and son Michael Hill. Charles is survived by Nancy, his beloved wife of over 60 years and granddaughter Kayla Hill.
A Visitation will be held 1 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, FL 33610.
