ALVAREZ, Caroline Anita “Carrie” 40, died June 24, 2016, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved youngest child of Tony and Brenda Alvarez. She grew up in Tampa, and was close and devoted to a large extended family that includes many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She graduated from Brandon Senior High School, and worked in the travel industry, and at TECO. She was a global citizen, who traveled the world and left friends tucked in every corner. She shared her love of travel and adventure with as many as possible. Her generosity of spirit, capacity for love and devotion to family was most profoundly seen, and felt, by her nieces and nephews, Austin and Abbey Spencer, and Lexi, Matthew, Lia, and Rori Campbell. Christine and Joseph Spencer and Rob and Cathy Campbell are her sisters and brothers-in-law, whose lives will always be impacted by her love. A Celebration of Caroline’s life will be held with a visitation at 10 am, Saturday, July 2, at The Garden of Memories Funeral Home in Tampa, Florida. There will be a service beginning at 11 am and her burial will follow immediately afterward.
