Carole Ramsay was born on January 8, 1947 in Plains, Pennsylvania. She attended St Ann’s Academy. Following graduation, she attended Temple and Wilkes Universities, where she obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Carole taught elementary school English in Pennsylvania before moving to Florida. Carole moved to Pinellas in 1981, obtained her mental health counseling license and ran a successful therapy practice for many years. Later in her career she worked in the area of Medicare and Medicaid compliance. All her life she was a prolific writer and Democratic supporter. She moved to Largo many years ago and remained there until her death. Carole loved her animals, especially her German Shepard, Bailey. Carole died peacefully on October 29, 2022 at Suncoast Hospice after succumbing to cancer.
Carole is survived by her two children, Allison Hall (Kimsey Hall), Jessica Felix (Matthew Felix), and her three grandchildren, Chase, Abigail and Amelia. She was predeceased by her parents.
