Carol Jean Poehler

Carol is survived by her longtime friend, Mercy Malasca of Tampa, Fl and many other close acquaintances. She is preceded in death by her parents Herbert Arthur Poehler and Florence Eleanor Garrison.

Carol was born on January 8, 1941 in Paterson City, NJ State. Carol graduated from Florida Southern College in 1963 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. She received a Master of Arts Degree in Education from University of South Florida in 1974. She was a dedicated and accomplished educator who taught elementary school and became Principal of Nativity Catholic School.

A funeral mass is scheduled for March 14, 2023, 11am at Nativity Catholic Church, Brandon, Fl. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Carol’s life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
