Carol was always so pretty and welcoming.  I loved visiting her and husband Bill.  My Teddy enjoyed the visits as well.  Bill was the one person who researched more than himself.  We miss them both.

Dear Bill, Dayna, Ian and Keely,

I am heartbroken for you and your family for the loss of Carol.  I remember the many wonderful years we shared as Bridal Consultants at Dillards  and what good friends we became.  She was a saint tolerating Pat and I who were the part-timers.  We worked hard but we also shopped hard.  It was fun just being in the store, especially at Christmastime.  One day she said to me, "when Dayna gets married I'm going to order her pastries and cookies from Zaccagnini's Bakery in Rhode Island."  I said, "what did you just say" and after she repeated it.  I said to her "that's my maiden name."  My father was killed when I was five and he came over from Italy when he was 23 so I really did not ever know his family and I just loved hearing this.  I loved your wife, mother and grandmother.  I've recently lost my husband after 60 years of marriage and have moved to Rapallo down in Estero.  When I did, I met a friend from Rhode Island and my first question was, "do you know Zaccagnini's Bakery, thinking of Carol."  My heart goes out to all of you.  I just returned from Michigan after 4 months and just read your sad message.  Please accept my deepest sympathy.  Love to you and your family.  Zita Bartoletta

Carol was one of my closest friends and next door neighbor for over 24 years.  With my own mother living away from here and my husband constantly traveling, I often called Carol two to three times a day.  Most of the time it was simply to ask what she was cooking or what she was watching on tv.  I was alone often and not one time did she ever make me feel like I was a burden.  She always gave me her undivided attention even though I'm sure I was nuisance sometimes.  I miss those days and I miss her positive outlook on everything.  She always knew how to make things better and for that reason alone, I know she is in a much better place!  I love you Carol.

While I did not know Carol as well as I would have liked I do know that she was the rock in her families life. She raised a strong, caring daughter and adored her two wonderful grandchildren. May she be at peace.

Dear Auntie Carol, you are a sweet, beautiful light in this world who will be so deeply missed, but you will surely continue to shine through those you've left behind.  May God bless you and grant you eternal peace in heaven.

My dearest friend.  Through our 40 year relationship we experienced wonderful memorable times together and some very tough tragic ones as well.  You were always there to offer kindness, love & support in your special & unique way.  For me you are the epitome of what a true Christian woman should represent.  We shared a special bond not only of friendship but of military sisterhood as well, both serving as military wives.  You possessed a special quality, that of putting everyone else’s needs before your own. Carol, I will always miss and love you.  My dear friend, Carol was a beautiful person. I have such happy memories of our high school and college years .  She was always  kind, loyal, non-judgemental, and so fun-loving. I was a bridesmaid in Carol and Bill's wedding and it was there I met Mike who became my husband; we were married just short of fifty years before God took him home, too.
 Carol and I kept in touch over many years, and had some special times visiting both in RI and FL.  Our conversations revolved around our families which we were both so proud of.
She was an important part of my life's journey and  will always remain in my heart.

So sorry to hear of Carol's passing.  She was my first cousin.  Her father was my father's brother - My Dad was Harvey. She was a very sweet & lovely person. 
The last time I saw her was when she had come up north when her mom had passed-quite a few yrs. Ago. -I remember attending her wedding.

Again, my deepest sympathy for your loss.  


So sad to hear of the passing of my beloved Godmother, Auntie Carol.  Our days together were few and far between due to the distance, however; those visits are some of my fondest memories.  The letters we shared over the years always brought me such happiness as you always had the kindest words to share.  You never missed a birthday  or a holiday, and I always remember the excitement on the days your packages would arrive because they were so filled with love and treasure!  
Uncle Bill, Dayna, Ian and Keely you were all the most precious gifts in her life. I am so sorry for your loss.
Auntie, you were filled with joy and grace and I hope that you are resting comfortably in peace.  I will remember the following saying and do my best to honor you by carrying  on your spirit in my words and deeds. "Those we love who pass away live on in us through our memories and our character." You will be missed.

I'll never have a favorite memory of the person that helped raise me, every moment I've had with her will always be my favorite. That's the person that she was, someone that would always leave a lasting impression on you in such a beautiful way. I will always say that she is the best, most pure person that I have ever had the pleasure of spending time with. She devoted so much to me and i will never forget that, it will be something that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I'll be forever grateful to her for the ideals that she instilled in to me. I'll miss her presence for the rest of my life, but I know she is in a better place with a big smile. The Angel's opened up a path for her in the road and let her in. She's at peace now and I know she's so happy. 

I couldn’t have asked for a better Noni. You were always so generous and kind to Ian and I even during these hard times recently. For that, I will be forever grateful. I will miss your amazing back scratches and hugs but I know that you will always be watching over me. I hope you see Daisy up there and give her the biggest hug for me. All my love, Keely. 

We have had over 51 years of marriage and been together over 53 years and it ended way too soon. I may not have always realized what I had, but I sure as heck now know what I have lost. I will always be proud of you and love you. You had warmth, character, and a loving heart. You raised a great daughter and you were her best friend. You are an Air Force wife and there is no doubt in my mind you were responsible for keeping things together in our family. Not an easy life, but you always handled it with grace and dignity. For that, I thank you. You are at peace now. Please look over Dayna, Ian and Keely. I really miss you. You are forever in my heart. All my love, your husband Bill.

Mom, I will forever miss you every day until we are back together again in Heaven. I know you are with me as my Guardian Angel, and with the kids too. You are my very best friend in the whole world. I was blessed to have the most wonderful and loving mom. I love you to the moon and back and a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck. You are free and can fly now. Have fun playing with our pets until I can be there. God keep you safe. I love you Mom, your Tootsie Pop.
