23, of Tampa, FL, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 5th. Bryan was born in Arlington, TX., but grew up in Tampa and graduated from Plant H.S., where he was quite the athlete. He played Little League baseball, and basketball growing up, and football and basketball for Plant. He was attending USF, at their St. Petersburg campus studying criminal justice. Bryan loved the Tampa Bay Bucs, traveling, water sports, cycling, weight lifting, ping pong and playing poker. He was very competitive in everything he did. He was a big teddy bear with a big heart. He was an incredible friend to so many, and was dearly loved by his friends and family. If you were fortunate enough to know Bryan, you had to love him. He would do anything for you. He would light up a room with his charismatic smile and 6’7” frame. He is survived by his parents, Luciann Pennington and Chris Kale; siblings: Christopher Kale and wife Katey Kale, Jeff Kale, Camille Kale, and Charlie Kale; grandmother, Lucille Pennington; uncles: Bryan Pennington, Lewood Pennington, and Patrick Lemarie; aunts: Margo Pennington-LeMarie and Alicia Pennington; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. There will be a visitation on Friday, June 19th from 4-6pm with a service to follow at 6pm at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 605 S. MacDill Avenue. All guests are required to wear masks.
