I only just learned of Brian's passing and I'm deeply saddened. I worked with Brian as long as I've been at Ohana Health Plan in Hawaii. He was a true gentleman and never game up on solving a problem. I know I am late in this outreach but my sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.

My condolences to the family and friends of Brian, you had him much longer than I, but the pain is still heavy. Today I thought about how I’ll never hear you call me “Sweet P” or how we planned to meet to eat soon; still waiting for my phone to ring from you. I loved receiving your text messages with jokes and those that you sent to tell me how crazy your weekend was lol. I am so grateful and blessed to have known you Brian. You will forever be in my heart. I will strive to be as kind and thoughtful as you. You can rest happily now.

Brian and Jeff were the best Hooters guests a bartender could ask for. They were genuine, kind and quickly became family. I ran into Brian in December 2022 days before a dear friends funeral at the Westshore Farmer’s Market. I shared the news of our friend’s untimely passing and we cried in the back of the market and took this picture. To find out that Brian is no longer with us is heartbreaking to say the least. Brian was always so warm and inviting. He was the type of person that you wanted to be around. I’m sad that he’s no longer with us and I’m happy he’s in heaven with his beloved Jeff who was ready to be reunited. Brian rest easy friend and I will never forget you or the smiles you always put on my face. Love you! 

A soft spoken, gentle and kind hearted person who left us too early. May his soul rest in peace.

Brian- You were the one who always knew the right thing to say. You could talk and talk and here I am left speechless. I don’t have words, let alone the right ones, to say goodbye to someone who means so much to so many. 
It was always me, prefacing conversations with “Don’t cry” and you telling me later, “its too late, I cried.” Now I hear you telling me “Don’t cry” and my turn to say, “its too late, I cried.”  
You were the one who always celebrated others. You gave selflessly. You were a good judge of character. You put others first. You lead with your heart. You made people smile. You told people you loved them. You defended you loved ones. You were a better person than most. 
I don’t know how to celebrate you...you’re the one I looked to for these things. 
I don’t know how to say it, but you’ll see it, you were so very loved. 
You are more than just a “work husband”, you are a forever friend. I miss you already. Give Jeff a huge hug!
I cannot say goodbye, just I’ll see you again. 


Left us too soon, I never met Brian but did talk with him on the phone in the middle of the night when something needed running.  We even had time for a laugh even thou it was 3am.  RIP Brian.

To be as unilaterally loved and respected as Brian is rare—he brought energy and positivity and wry wit to every interaction. It saddens me to think that I won’t work with him again.  He ALWAYS made time.

Brian, We were friends for over 36 years. You were always there when I needed. I remember our trips to Disney and GA.  Some of my earliest memories together was just doing nothing. I remember helping fix a hole in your Mom's celling.  We lost contact over the years but recently reconnected. You grew into an amazing person. We were just talking on Wednesday and then you were gone without warning.   A friend to be remembered. RIP

I am in total shock. Brian, it was too soon for you to leave us my friend. You used to ask me when I will travel to Tampa (from Houston) to finally meet each other in person. You used to tell me any day that we learn just one new thing, they should allow us to go home early! I can't tell you how sad I am that I wasn't able to finally meet you in person. I so enjoyed my time with Brian.  He made me smile the moment he was around and that never ever changed.  I have worked with Brian for 13 years and it was a pleasure.  We did musical montoge moments, laughed until we cried, and had plans to do lunch in 2 weeks.  My heart breaks for this world being without his light.  He was an amazing soul.  So much love goes to his family and loved ones.  Thank you for sharing him with this world that needed him so badly. 

Brian I am so glad we became friends and I’ll never forget your kindness and wonderful sense of humor. Most of all you always put people first. No matter how busy you were you always reached out to bring a smile to my day. I’ll miss you my friend.

Brian with a beautiful soul was loved by so many. Always himself from the first day I met him in Jr bowling along with Cheryl.  We always had a good time bowling and away from bowling. Brian was more than my manager. He was my friend. He believed in me and what I could do and brought me out of my shell, allowing me to have even more confidence in myself. It will be hard trying to get used to not being able to reach out to him whenever I want to share something with him, but I’m reminded by the fact that he is reunited with his loved ones. There’s so much I wish that I could say,  but the main thing I want to say is: I love you and rest in peace ❤️

Brian was a gift to this world - he touched the hearts and lives of so many. Whether it was at work, at church,  in his family or at one of his favorite places to eat, drink, watch the game etc - he made friends and an impression.  He was a force to be reckoned with - but a gentle and kind one. I know of no one that spoke ill of him or that disliked him.  Everyone left here will undoubtedly find a hole in their hearts and in their lives.  He was a great coworker and friend. I know I will miss him. God speed Brian.
