So so sorry for your loss to the families I asked God to give you strength and peace in this time of pain  I remember him to be a sweetheart caring person always helping out and a great son brother cuz ect  you’re going to be very missed gone but never forgotten in or hearts  forever rest in peace Benny

Grieve has no time limit ....

Yvie and I are so heavy-hearted with this news.  We saw you that week and remembering your last words to me, "I'll be back again!"
 You will be missed. Our deepest condolences from Yvie and all of us at the Cano Household.

My dad was the funniest person I knew. His jokes make you laugh no matter what mood i was in. Whether it was his corny joke or just the look on his face every single time I was with him I was laughing. He was also the most social person and I remember as a kid he was always hanging out with the neighbors and the neighborhood kids. We would sit on the driveway with our garage open and just hang out and barbecue. My dad loved his family!! He spoke of our grandma often and told stories of his life growing up with all the brothers and sister and cousins. My dad loved to meet new people and be around people all the time. From being in the Army to working at Toyota and the River Ranch to finally pursuing his lifelong dream of being a business owner. He was so proud of Occutech Inc and kept telling us that was his legacy. He taught my two oldest to swim. He ran with me in my 7th grade track meet and was always my biggest encourager. I’ll never ever forget you and the laughs we had daddy. I miss you so much it aches but I’m so grateful for every moment God allowed me to have with you as MY DAD. I wish we had more time and I’ll regret the moments I didn’t call or come by forever. But I know now you’re better off than all of us and sitting in the presence of our savior singing at the top of your lungs. And yes dad, I did get my talent from you. I’ll love you forever. Ill like you for always. As long as I’m living my daddy you’ll be. 

Benny was my long time friend. We met in 7th grade. He used to tease me by sing songing 🎶 my name. I can still hear it.  We shared lots of the same friends and had so much fun back in the day. I'm going to miss our talks about life and what we wanted to achieve. I'm so happy that he traveled for work. It gave me the opportunity to see him when he happened to be in the area. He was a family man and talked about his kids and grandchildren. He loved them all so much. I'm going to miss him immensely. I'm so grateful for the friendship we shared through all these years. Every time I hear Freestyle Music 🎶 It will remind me of him. Even though my heart aches, I know he'll be watching over his loved ones from above.  I love you Benny. Until we meet again, you'll be in my heart.

😞We worked together, mostly @River Ranch, where it didn’t take long before our tiny team became more like a 2nd family. Some had lil’ kids that stayed on the ranch as their parents worked & when work was done? Many times we ate dinner & hung out, cruising the ranch in oversized golf carts until the wee hours.  Benny had kids too &  when not going home to spend all of  his free time with them?
 He was always IN... on having fun with the rest of us.  He was a good guy and a fiercely proud dad too. When I think of him? It’ll be knowing that and thinking of those hilarious & crazy days @the ranch.
