Basilia Diaz went home to be with the Lord on April 4th, 2019. She was born in Cuba, and was 87. Basilia was preceded in death by her husband Segundo, parents Viviano and Clara Luz, and many siblings. She was a very loving woman who loved her family, cooking, and gardening. Basilia was very proud of the fact that she became an America Citizen when she was in her seventies. Her survivors left to cherish her joyous memory include her son Daniel (Segundito), his wife Wanda, and Grandsons; Christopher and Thomas. Basilia is also survived by two Brothers; Secundino, and Manolo (Nieves), and one Sister; Juana and her husband Luis (Omar). Additionally Basilia is also survived by many Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.
The family would like to thank Grannies Home ALF for their warm, and loving care as well as Seasons Hospice. We would also like to thank Marisol, Jessica, Jorge, and Rosie for their special help. We also want to thank Aunt Vickie for her help.
In lieu of flowers, or donations in Basilia’s memory please make them to Seasons Hospice or Autism Speaks.
