August Robert "Bob" Wolf born to Peter August Wolf and Josephine Lyng on August 24, 1930, in Westbury, New York, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, February 27, 2016, at the age of 85. Bob graduated high school and was a Korean War Veteran, proud of his service as a paratrooper in the Army. He was a truck driver for 44 years. Bob relocated to South Florida after marrying his now deceased first wife, Joan Carroll Wolf and starting his family, He was also predeceased by his sister, June Standfast, and her husband, Hank. He is survived by his loving wife, Iris, his sister Evelyn Chronis (Paul), his children Beth, Barbara Meyer (Dex), Betsy, Linda (Brian Kenney), June Wilson (Steve), Mike Goonan (Julie), Patrick, Nancy, Carolyn and Ed (Kirk Read), Connie Piccinonna (Carlo), Amanda, Angela and Amber Piccinonna. He was proud of his nine grandchildren, Christopher, Carolyn Marie, Tommy, Erika, Amber, Valerie, Veronica, Shane, and Casey, and seven great-grandchildren, Connor, Claire, Scarlett, Eliza, Lola, Anika and Ryder. Bob's family and friends were his life. Bob's family will celebrate his life with a sea side memorial, in Hollywood Beach, FL, and a burial with Military honors at the South Florida National Cemetery at 6501 FL-7, Lake Worth, FL 33449, at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 14th.
