Arthur Irvan Springer went with God to be reunited with his beloved wife, Martha Gloria Springer on December 4th, 2024. Mr. Springer exemplified the best character traits of a devoted husband, father and friend.
He is survived by his six children: David Joseph Springer, Michael Andrew Springer (Susan), Elizabeth Marie Springer, Susan Theresa Kelly ( Richard), Sharon Rose Arrowood (David), Arthur James Springer (Brenda); his ten grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
He devoted his life to the safety and security of his family working tirelessly as a computer programmer and eventually a renowned square dance caller. An avid tennis player, he also enjoyed fishing. He made lifelong friends around the world and was held in the highest regard by everyone he met. He lived a life of honor and integrity driven by his faith in God. He and Martha were very active members in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Tampa for many decades.
His 21 years of honorable service to his country in the US Air Force included deployments to Korea, Vietnam, Germany and England. His heartfelt loyalty to his country remained a constant throughout his life.
His devotion to his wife Martha only grew stronger through their 68 years of marriage and their reunion now completes a love story which is blessed by God through eternity.

A visitation for Arthur will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E LAKE AVE, TAMPA, FL 33610. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, 4207 E LAKE AVE, TAMPA, FL 33610. A committal will occur Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513.
