In Santa Clara, Cuba, on July 26, 1930, Armando Pacheco was born to a hardworking business-owner Felipe and his wife, America Pacheco. He was the baby of the family with one older sister, Nora, and two older brothers, Noel and Felipe. Armando passed away on April 2, 2020, at the age of 89 from natural causes.
Armando was the patriarch of the Pacheco family. He was a devoted husband to his sweetheart of 60 years, Elsa Pacheco. He was a hard-working and loving father to his sons, Armando and Felipe; and a loving father-in-law to Claudia, Kim, Sue, and Alecia. He was a dependable uncle to Lily, and Noel - whom he raised as his own, and to his nieces; Rosalia, Lilian, and Carmen. He was an earnest grandfather to 15 grandchildren - and never forgot a single birthday. Armando’s family was the most important thing in the world to him.
He is fondly remembered for his captivating stories, deep wisdom of life, and fierce love and selflessness for his family. His long talks, constant smile and contagious laughter is missed by many.
