She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Jackson, daughter Nancy Jarrett and sisters Dorothy Keith, and Elsie Baily. Arlene is survived by her brother Walter Rittall, grandchildren Jennifer Christoff and Michael Jarrett, their father Bruce Jarrett as well as her great-grandchildren; Devin Jarrett, Kaelyn Jarrett, Ryan Jarrett, Riley Christoff and Tyler Christoff.
Originally from Dresden Maine, Arlene moved to Florida in the 50’s. She was a devoted wife, mother and member of the Lutheran faith supporting the Zion Lutheran church in Tampa, Florida for over 50 years. Arlene and Robert helped maintain the church and Arlene ran their food bank supporting the homeless. She enjoyed gardening and crafts filling her table with home-grown vegetables, flowers and original artwork. Arlene was kind and thoughtful finding joy helping family, neighbors and members of the Zion congregation.
A Graveside Service will be held 3:00 pm, Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, FL.
