Antonio L. Sánchez, nació en Los Palacios, Pinar Del Río, Cuba el 11 de agosto de 1933. Dejó la Cuba comunista y finalmente se estableció en Chicago, IL. Trabajó como Carnicero en Cuba, y también en Chicago. Tenía su propio negocio de helados después de mudarse a la Florida.

Antonio L. Sánchez fue miembro de la Iglesia Evangélica Bautista Cortland, Chicago, donde aceptó por primera vez a Jesús como su Señor y Salvador personal. Asistió por última vez a Life Church en Wesley Chapel, FL.

Antes de Antonio L. Sánchez, falleció su hermana Eulalia Sánchez y su madre Francisca Rivero-Córdova y varios Tíos y Tías. Le sobreviven su esposa Edelia Sánchez, sus hijas Aide Báez, Elida Waggoner, sus hijos Máximo Sánchez, Carlos Sánchez y once nietos y cinco bisnietos, así como sus dos hermanos Mario Sánchez y Lázaro Sánchez.

Se llevará a cabo un velorio para Antonio el domingo 22 de octubre de 2023 de 5:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m. en González Funeral Home, 7209 North Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, FL 33614, con un servicio de oración que comenzará a las 6:00 p. m. El velorio final se llevará a cabo el lunes 23 de octubre de 2023 a las 9 a. m. en la funeraria y las oraciones finales comenzarán a las 10:00 a. m. seguido de un servicio de sepelio en Sunset Memory Gardens, 11005 N US 301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592.

Antonio L. Sanchez, 90 years old, of Land O Lakes, FL passed away peacefully on October 14, 2023 in his home with his loving wife at his side.

Antonio L. Sanchez, was born in Los Palacios, Pinar Del Río, Cuba on August 11, 1933. He left Communist Cuba and eventually settled in Chicago, IL. He worked as a Butcher in Cuba, and also in Chicago. He had his own Ice Cream business after moving to Florida.

Antonio L. Sanchez was a member of Iglesia Evangélica Bautista Cortland, Chicago where he first accepted Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior. He last attended Life Church in Wesley Chapel, FL.

Antonio L. Sanchez is predeceased by his sister Eulalia Sanchez, his mother Francisca Rivero- Cordova. He is survived by his wife Edelia Sanchez, his daughters Aide Baez, Elida Waggoner, his sons Maximo Sanchez, Carlos Sanchez and eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren as well as his two brothers Mario Sánchez and Lazaro Sánchez.

The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, nursing staff, CNA Jeannie as well as chaplain and social worker from Gulfside Hospice for providing excellent and compassionate care.

A visitation for Antonio will be held Sunday, October 22, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 7209 North Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, FL 33614 with a prayer service beginning at 6:00 PM. A final viewing will occur Monday, October 23, 2023 at 9AM at the funeral home with final prayers beginning at 10:00 AM with a committal service to follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, 11005 N US 301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592.
