Antonio "Tony" Romanello

ROMANELLO, Antonio passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018. Antonio “Tony” was the loving husband to Glenda and the wonderful father of Lorrie Romanello and Lisa Stedman. He was born in Tampa, FL March 22, 1933. Tony was raised in Ybor City and graduated from Jefferson High School as well as The University of Tampa. He served his country in the Air Force. He was married to Glenda Moyers Romanello for 53 years. He retired from the Hillsborough County Public Schools after 37 years of teaching. His heart was big and his love for family and friends was bigger! He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda; his parents, Connie and Ciro Romanello; grandson, Cameron Porter. Survivors include his daughters, Lorrie (David) and Lisa (Jason); granddaughter, Julia; great-granddaughter, Adryanna; his beloved brother and sister, Alfonso and Pauline (Richard). He was a loving uncle to Ricky (Donna), Melissa (Paul), Dana (Travis), and Christine; neighbor, Jeanette Rush; best friends, San (Joan) Uccello, Joe (Eva) Menendez, and Paul (Dalia) Carbone; numerous nieces and nephews. Tony will be greatly missed by his friends and family. Visitation will be Friday, August 3, 2018 at 10 am followed by funeral services at 11 am at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa 33610 with burial following services.
