Duran Sr., Anthony R., 67, of Tampa, FL passed away on February 6, 2010. He is survived by his wife, son, daughter, two grandchildren, son-in-law, and daughter-in-law. Anthony lived a full life as a major-league baseball prospect, veteran of the U.S. Navy, college graduate, and a family man. He spent over thirty years in public service with both the city of Tampa and Hillsborough County. His life was a celebration of graciousness and optimism. He will be dearly missed. Services will take place 6pm to 9pm, on Wednesday Feb. 10, 2010 at Gonzalez Funeral Home.
