Ann Marie Earle passed away on December 2nd with her sons and their spouses at her side. Born Ann Marie Spaulding to parents Mabel and Gilbert Spaulding on May 3rd 1938 in Springfield, Massachusetts, her mother remarried in 1947 to Fraser Cox, who raised her as his own daughter. A graduate of Springfield High School in 1957, Ann formed lifelong friendships with her classmates, especially Caroline “Dodo” Riley. In April of 1960, Ann married Ralph Earle with whom they spent 53 years together until his passing. After getting married, Ann and Ralph moved to Texas, then shortly relocated to Tampa for opportunities with Eastern Airlines. Ann herself also worked at Eastern, and enjoyed working throughout her life with various other companies such as Maas Brothers, the Aloha Shop, and USAA Rent-a-Car. Ann was widowed in February 2014 but remained at her home of 60 years in Town N Country, where they moved after coming to Tampa. Ann spent decades of her life as a caregiver, first for a neighbor, then her mother, father, and finally her husband. She was selfless, fierce, compassionate, and was a lover of animals. Her passion for dogs transitioned in the 90’s to cats, and she helped innumerable felines in her neighborhood, spending countless hours and finances to help all of those in need of a meal and medical treatment. Ann had a love of going to garage and estate sales, had a keen eye for rare and vintage items, and could haggle with the best of them. Confident, fierce of defending her opinions, she was always a mother first and foremost. Her love can be felt in every aspect of the lives of the people who knew her, and her passing leaves an immeasurable loss. In order of age, she is survived by her three children; her daughter, Kim, her son, Keith and his spouse, Elvis, and her youngest, Guy, and his spouse, Kelly.
