Bartlett, Ann Orrence, resident of Tampa, Florida for 33 years and native of Kansas City, Kansas. Born November 10, 1930-died November 1, 2014. Survived by her husband of nearly 62 years George, Sr.; 3 children-Brenda, George Jr. (Virginia), Andrew (Kelly) and 3 grandchildren-Katie, Billy, Blake and awaiting a granddaughter. Ann was a very special person with a spirit of adventure and a great sense of humor. She was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Nana, Mentor, Colleague, and friend to many. Ann and George met at the University of Kansas. When first married George was in the U.S. Air Force based in France, Ann joined him for the last twenty months of his tour. After George completed college and started his career in business they relocated to several cities. After raising her family and many years volunteering with various community organizations, she entered the Residential Real Estate business in her forties and was instantly successful in Sales, and later in Management in the Chicago area. When she and George relocated to Tampa in 1981, she was given the task of the Florida expansion for Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate Company. She was Executive Vice President for the Florida Operations and led them from the start of one office in Carrollwood to being the leader in all major markets in Florida. She later worked on the Merger and Acquisition Team for the company, and helped in the acquisition of several companies throughout United States. She & George loved to travel - visited 47 of the 50 states, and sixty countries around the world. Ann loved the arts, was an avid reader, cook, and gardener. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
