Angelina Figueroa

Angelina was born in Patillas, Puerto Rico in a dwelling house. She moved to Brooklyn, New York in 1990. Angelina was a homemaker, raising her children and then grandchildren. She was Christian and a loyal member of Iglesia de Cristo Misionera Mahanaim in Tampa, FL. Angelina enjoyed cooking and was a talented gardener. She was a capable seamstress and could make clothes along, with drapery, from scratch. Angelina enjoyed spending time with her family and loved ones. She was funny and loved to tell her family and friends stories.

Angelina was predeceased by her husband Sixto Sanchez who passed June 26th, 2022 and her two children; Franklyn Ortiz who passed September 14th, 2020 and Marisol Rivera.

Angelina was survived by her grandchildren; Danny Rivera, Edwina Rivera, Krystina Keaton, Christina Bruno, and Bobby Velez. She was survived y 15 great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Angelina will be held Friday, October 28, 2022 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 7209 North Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, FL 33614. Following the visitation will be a committal service from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Sunset Memory Gardens, 11005 N US 301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592.
