Daddy you were the first love of my life, the man, whom as a little girl I would follow everywhere, and get so excited to see when you would get home from work and would bring me Mr. Softy ice cream when you had your own truck. You man who would navigate New York City in your yellow cab for 30 years, a man so humble and old fashioned in his ways; a man that never left myside, how hard it is to accept that you are now gone. Thank you for being a wonderful man, a great father to me, for your teachings and support. You along with mom helped mold me to the person I am today. I am forever grateful to you. I love you so very much daddy, and am so happy to have been able to return the favor and take care of you and protect you til your last breath. I miss you deeply, but find solace that you are now reunited with the love of your life, my mom, your son Jorge as well as with your mother and father and sisters and brothers and countless family in heaven. You were the youngest of the males, and leave behind Tia Lucy. I love you daddy -your negrita is so proud of the man you were. I love you and will see you again. Give mom a kiss and hug for me. Please tell her I love her.

Dios se llevó a Tio Wi porque seguro allá necesitaban de alguien tan bondadoso como él. Estará junto  a Nelly mirándote desde allá arriba a tí y a tu familia y a tu hermano.  Aunque la distancia no nos permitió compartir mucho con él, siempre le amamos y recordamos porque era uno de los hermanos que Mami quería muchisimo.  Siempre lo tendremos en el corazón.
