APONTE ROSARIO, Angel Luis, 69, of Tampa, peacefully passed away November 16, 2018 at the James a Haley V A Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He had a degree in architecture and enjoyed many careers; bathing suit designer, airplane seat designer, owner of a Book and Record Store, bookkeeping, driving truck for Sunbeam bread, dry cleaning delivery, and working in liquor retail. Angel enjoyed music and art; dancing and listening to jazz music. He preceded in death by his parents; Miguel Perez Aponte and Fredesvinda Rosario Aponte, brothers; Ricky Aponte and Michael Aponte. Angel took pride in his family and is survived by; daughters; Cynthia Aponte of Winter Park, Mindi Aponte of Tampa, granddaughters; Kassandra Rogers, Kristina Rogers, Daynalise Knotts, and Karinah Robertson, great grandchildren; Kemirrah M Harris and Antonio D Jackson, Jr, brother Dario Aponte, extended family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, November 23rd, 11 am to 12 noon, with Military Honors presented at 12 noon, at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610.
