Ana was born on April 25, 1924 in Habana, Cuba, to Flora Garcia and Manuel Santos. She lived 36 beautiful years in her cherished country and fled communism to the United States in 1961, and moved to Tampa, Florida.
Ana was preceded in death by her son, Julio Cesar Granda, III, and her three brothers, Eduardo, Oswaldo, and Antonio Santos. She is survived by her daughter, Ana Granda Pi, granddaughter, Ashley Kristen Pi and husband, Darrell W. Kropog, great-granddaughter, Liana Carolina Kropog, niece Ana Santos Tuzzo, and nephews, Oswaldo Santos (Yvette) and Marco Antonio Santos.
Ana had a passion for painting and loved music. She was also very involved in the Club 15 organization providing help to the less fortunate in the community. Ana was known for her elegance, sophistication, and compassionate spirit.
A Funeral Mass will be held on September 9, 2020 at 11:00 am at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 5225 N. Himes Ave., Tampa, FL. Interment to follow mass at Garden of Memories. All friends and family are welcomed to accompany the family. Flowers are welcomed.
