87, of Tampa, went home to be with the Lord Sept. 11, 2016. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Bodden Whitley; and son, Douglas W. Bodden. Althea was a devout and active member of the community. She was also a longtime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Rupert M. Bodden; grandson, Christopher Whitley (Julie); sons-in-law, Michael Whitley and Steve Rosenstock; and great-grandchildren, Raven Whitley and Nolan Whitley. Funeral Services will take place Thursday, Sept. 15, 10 am, at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
