Albert Henry Perry

Albert "Bert" Perry was a longtime resident of Citrus County. He passed away peacefully September 21 while he was a temporary resident of Linville, NC. Bert was born in Springfield, MA and lived most of his life there, working in TN for a few years before retiring to FL in 1984. He was proud to serve as a bomber pilot in WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Laurene. They had been involved with many church ministries over the years, most recently at North Oak Baptist Church where they participated in the music ministry and in organizing activities for seniors. He is survived by his daughters and son-in-laws, Diana and Gene Cope, Sue and Perry Roberts, Joyce and Mike Kepto, by his son and his wife, Allan and April Perry, 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren who will miss him greatly but are comforted to know that he has a home in "glory land." Memorial Service service is Monday, Oct 3 10:30 AM at North Oak Baptist church in Citrus Springs, FL with burial at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, at 2:30P.
