Rose Pierre-Louis

Rose Pierre-Louis was born Rose Carmel Cherubin in August 1950 in Beudet, Haiti. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Michel Cherubin and Mrs. Cornelie Cherubin; After many long years of struggling with complicated heart issues, Rose departed this earthly life on Thursday, January 19, 2023; she was 72 years old. Rose left behind her three children, McHenry Pierre-Louis, Renee Pierre-Louis, and Lorie Pierre-Louis.

Rose is survived by two older brothers, Serge Cherubin and Wiener Cherubin, a younger brother Claudie Cherubin, and a younger sister Louise Cherubin.

Rose was kind, loving, and a great mother; she spent most of her life nurturing her three children; she lived with her youngest daughter Lorie until she passed away.

Rose was a passionate and avid doll collector. She collected dolls of every race and ethnicity. The diversity of her doll collection is an extension of her humanity.

Rose loved her family dearly, her children, grandchildren, cousin, and nieces. She was a great mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She touched the lives of so many people. She will truly be missed and will never, ever be forgotten.

As a person of faith, Rose wished to celebrate the immortality promised to all by Christ. She would love to be remembered with humor, laughter, and happy stories that celebrate what was good and blessed in her life.
