Nate was known by many and although he had a hard shell he had a heart of gold and if he could put you in a position to win he would. He wanted to see everyone he was around and loved winning and coming out on top because that was his mindset . Nate had a positive outlook on life no matter what was going on.
Nate lived life to the fullest spending time with his kids, (building Lego structures, going to different museums, watching the airplanes land and take off in the airplane park by Ft. Lauderdale airport) hanging out with friends(at entertainment clubs, the studio, the basketball court and enjoying really good food. Nate enjoyed meditation to relax his mind and start his day as well as listening to classical music.
Nathan Moses Eric Hillmon was born on December 5, 1993, in Baltimore, Maryland. Born to Susan Buchanan and David Hillmon, he was the second child from a family of four brothers and three sisters. He was fondly known as “Nate” by all who knew him, because of his jovial and friendly disposition.
Nathan initially attended Dania Elementary and later transferred to Colbert Elementary School. At McNichol’s Middle Magnet School, Nathan excelled in Math and Japanese (reading and writing) and was a first prize winner in Japanese speaking contest. Nathan also received the Bill Gates Scholarship where he had the opportunity to attend the university of his choice.
Nathan was a fan of the LA Lakers and his favorite basketball player was the late Kobe Bryant. His favorite football team was the Baltimore Ravens and he would ask his big sister, Jen, to accompany him to games. He enjoyed anime- more specifically Naruto and he pjayed games such as: Call of Duty, 2K, and Madden on his PS5.
Nathan loved the movie “Good Fellas” and would watch it repeatedly. One of Nathan’s hobbies was collecting sneakers and he had a wide variety of them. Nathan has 2 children with a third on the way. His children adored the ground he walked on and there wasn’t anything Nathan wouldn’t do for his children.
Nathan is survived by: His parents: Susan and David; Paternal Grandmother: Cassandra Myrick; Surviving siblings: Jen, Tracee, Zachary, Joshua, Rachel, & Noah; Children: Lyela, Nathan Jr., and his unborn; Uncles and Aunts: Dorothy, Doreen, Winston, Joan, Anne, Jeffery, Ardenia, Isis, Arnissa, Kellie, Nneka, and Donte; Nieces and Nephews: Triston, Bryanna, and Jaslen; Cousins: Michelle, Sefena, Curtis, Jamie, Ellis, Narkesa, Anthony, Arielle, Keith, Michael, Jordan, Dymond, Keiana, Aaryn, Iyanna and Michael.
