Yvonne Littrell, 90, of Tallahassee died Wednesday (7/4) at Big Bend Hospice. A native of New Orleans, LA she came to Tallahassee in 1994 from Mobile, Alabama. Yvonne loved medicine and was a medical technician and had taught at a university while working. She had been accepted to medical school but decided against attending because she had two children and wanted to focus on her family. Even though she worked as a medical technologist and taught at the university, her greatest achievement was her devotion to her husband and taking care of her children. She moved a lot during her life and in her later years particularly loved to travel and tour new and various places.
Preceded in death by her husband and son, she is survived by her daughter: Dianne Stiller and son-in-law: Wolfgang Stiller of Colorado Springs, Colorado and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Sunday (7/8) at 2:00 PM at MeadowWood Memorial Park.
