Winston Blankenship, 87, of Tallahassee died Saturday (9/1) in Gainesville. A native of Bertha, Alabama, he came to Tallahassee in 1963 from Alabama. He served a full career in the Army and Army reserves and enjoyed his free time fishing. He will always be remembered as a hard worker who enjoyed his job and loved his family.
Survivors include his daughter: Delia Pittman of Gainesville; son: Wiley of Tallahassee; two grandchildren: Megan Colburn and Christopher; and one great-granddaughter: Madison Colburn.
