William F. Taylor

Bill’s family settled in Marianna, Florida where he attained his primary education. Bill joined the naval reserve right after high school and he served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era. When he returned home, Bill graduated from Tallahassee Community College and began his career in law enforcement. He retired from the FSU police department after 30 years of dedicated service.

Bill met and married the love of his life, the former Ms. Shirley Glenn and they shared 52 years of love together.

Bill was happiest dog hunting and fishing at his camp in Liberty County with his friends and family.

Bill is survived by his wife, Shirley Glenn Taylor; sons, Dub Taylor (Jennifer) and Glenn Taylor (Amy); granddaughters, Haley Ragans (Luke), Emily Taylor and Melody Taylor; sister, Charleene Fegreus. Bill is also survived by a host of family members and friends who loved him dearly.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Will and Anne Taylor and his brother, Ronnie Taylor.
