William Nowlin

Born February 1931 in Arcadia FL to James and Jewell Nowlin, he was in the Marines in Korea, graduated from University of Florida and he was a long time resident of Merritt Island, FL and a deacon at First Baptist Church MI, known to many 1st graders as “Mr. Bill”.

He is preceded in death by; his parents James and Jewell Nowlin, his brother James Nowlin, his wife of 61 years Mildred Elaine Weiss Nowlin, and his sons Robert Nowlin and Michael Nowlin. He is survived by his son David and his wife Renee Nowlin, daughter in law Melanie Nowlin, son John and his wife Susan Nowlin, eight grandchildren; Eve Will, Darien Nowlin, Kyle Nowlin, Daniel Nowlin, Matthew Nowlin, Aaron Nowlin, Jordan Nowlin, Kate Nowlin; two great grandchildren Kyle Nowlin, Jr and Kearsten Nowlin; and several nieces and a nephew.

He will be interred Friday July 14th at Jacksonville National Cemetery and there will be a memorial service celebrating his life to be held at First Baptist Church Merritt Island Saturday July 15th at 10 am
