Virginia Moffett Temple, 91, of Tallahassee died Friday (6/29) at St Augustine Plantation. Born in New Britain, Connecticut she came to Tallahassee in 2010 from Panama City. She had worked to the US Navy as an Administrative Assistant at the Maritime Naval Academy and traveled extensively throughout the world during her time there. Virginia was a “people person” who was very accepting and out-going. She loved to socialize and everyone loved her sense of humor. She was a volunteer at Bay Medical in Panama City for over 20 years and loved the beach and shopping. She was also very caring for animals of all kinds.
Preceded in death by her husband: Charles H Temple; she is survived by a step daughter: Johanna Temple Aiello of Great Barrington, MA; sister: Vivian M (Robert) Moore of Tallahassee; niece: Ellie (Robert) Wilcox of Niceville; nephew: Morton (Barbara) Moore and several great nieces and nepews.
Virginia’s life will be remembered and celebrated on Saturday (7/7) at 1:00 PM at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Chapel, Riggins Road location.
