Virginia Lynne Cox "Ginny" Moody

Virginia Lynne (Cox) Moody of Panacea, FL, passed away on January 1, 2013, surrounded by her family.

Ginny is survived by her husband, Larry Moody; her two sons, Stuart Cox, Jr. and Eddie Cox; her sister, Diana Hallock; and her mother, Jeanne Keplinger.

Ginny was born on October 26, 1945 in Syracuse, NY. After graduating with a business degree from the State University of New York, she became a high school business teacher. In 1971, Ginny married Stuart Sage Cox, Sr. and started a family in Tallahassee, FL, where they lived until his passing in 2008. Ginny served her community as an MLS Photographer for 25 years, and recently retired from her position as Bookkeeper/Office Manager at VR Systems for the past seven years.

Ginny married Larry Douglas Moody in 2010, and they moved to Panacea, FL, and led an active life fishing and enjoying time with family. Ginny actively served the First Church of Christ, Scientist, Tallahassee, FL, in many capacities. The quality of Ginny's character, and the palpable expression of her love for everyone with whom she came into contact, touched many people and improved the lives of those around her. She was a fantastic mom and wife, dedicated to her children and family, and focused on keeping everyone connected, comforted, and happy.

The memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at 2:00pm at Culley's Meadowwood Funeral Home at 700 Timberlane Road in Tallahassee, FL. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your charity of choice.
