Thomas Matthew Walden, lover of rock music/football/muscle cars in addition to word puzzles and puns passed away at his home on 1/15/2024.
Tom was the son of William Bruce Walden and Hilda Sue Mattox Walden (both deceased), brother of William Bruce Walden Jr. (Kim) and uncle to Billy Walden and Shelby Walden. Tom served in the US Navy and was a plankowner on the USS Thach. Tom worked for many years as a rural mail carrier for the US Postal Service. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be to any local mental health facility.
A public visitation for Thomas will be held Friday, January 26, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32312. A funeral service will occur Friday, January 26, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32312. A burial with military honors will occur Friday, January 26, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32312.
