Terry Carson Green, 66, passed away on July 3, 2012 at his home in Monticello, Fl.
Terry was born November 20, 1945 in Tallahassee, FL to Stephen and Madie Chason Green. He was a 1964 graduate of Leon High School and then joined the United States Army and became a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division in Fort Bragg, N.C. He attended and graduated from the Florida Law Enforcement Academy in 1975 and went to work with the Florida Capitol Police until his retirement in 1996.
Terry enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. He was also an avid fan of FSU football and FSU baseball.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Madie Green; his sisters, Kathryn Ervin and Geneva Messer; and his brother, Curtis Green.
He is survived by his sons, Keith Green of Denver, Colorado and Chris (Cody) Green of Tallahassee, FL; his companion, Shelia Ellis; and faithful dog, Faith; the mother of his children, Janice Green; his twin sister, Sherry (Larry) Taylor and Frances Price of Tallahassee, FL; and his brother, Herbert Green, Albany, GA. Also, a host of nieces and nephews and his two granddogs.
The memorial service will be held Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Road. A Reception will follow the Service.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to The Leon County Humane Society.
Arrangements are under the direction of Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home in Tallahassee, Florida.
